Meet Molly B.! Carone Learning Student of the Week!

Let us introduce you to our student of the week, Molly B.!  Molly enjoyed being in both fitness basics 1 and 2! She liked how she was able to work the courses into her already set schedule instead of creating a new schedule to fit the courses into. She also enjoyed setting and working toward specific goals to benefit her body.

What do you like most about your Carone Learning course?

The thing I like most about the Carone Learning course would be how it has me set goals and see how I do the next time I preform them. I have always been very competitive with myself and the goals I set help me look at them, wanting to improve for the benefit of my body.

What have you learned in your Carone Learning course that will most help you in your life?

The Carone Learning course has taught me to balance myself with exercise. For example I have always considered myself good at athletics, but I didn’t always stretch before and after I exercise which is important for my muscles. I also learned about better ways to eat so my body can get the right proteins and fibers so it can do the work it has to.

How has your Carone Learning course helped you improve your level of health or fitness?

I have increased my level of stretching before and after my workouts at swim. This has helped with my flexibility and my muscles are less sore.

How has your cFitness Academy instructor helped you with your course or your goals?

My cFitness Academy instructor has helped me with everything. Whenever I asked for further information she has responded with more information than I expected to receive. She has been very supportive.

Why did you sign up for a course through cFitness Academy, and how has taking this course online been beneficial?

I signed up for a course online because I am a Junior Olympic Swimmer, and opted out of the on campus PE course. I did not need to add more psychical activity to my day, and this class allows more time for homework in my daily schedule. Carone fitness has allowed me to work on time management and balance my schedule.

Here’s what Molly’s teacher had to say about her:

“Molly is a diligent worker, both in her courses and her fitness. I’ve now had her in two courses and in both her assignments are always high quality, her comments and reflections well thought out, and her fitness routines, while consistent due to being on a swim team, are always improving in some way. She sets realistic but challenging goals for herself and works hard to achieve them. I also have greatly appreciated her willingness to learn and better understand the material she studies in these courses. We’ve had great conversations about various topics and it’s always a pleasure to help her better understand them. It’s particularly inspiring that she is already making plans to stay active however she can while she is injured and cannot do much on her feet because she enjoys it so much. What a great example!”

In Molly’s Fitness Basics 2 class there is an opportunity to discuss how a fitness assessment can help you improve your health here is her response:

“A fitness assessment can help you improve your fitness because it has multiple tests in it. It can’t just take one thing to see your overall fitness level. It can also show you how you improved or didn’t over time so you can get better at it. I would like to improve on my muscular endurance because sometimes for example when I am doing something like pushups, I have trouble doing them repeatedly once it gets past around twenty or so.  ”

Just as all of our students are unique, we think Molly is pretty great and we’re proud to have her in class! Thanks, Molly!
