Let us introduce you to our student of the week, Ryan D.! Ryan was enrolled in Medical terminology. He signed up because his school didn’t offer it, he feels he learned information that will help him in his future career, as well as getting a head start to the information he’ll need for college.
What do you like most about your Carone Learning course?
I like that I can do the course in my own pace. It feels really good to be able to get way far ahead, just in case anything happened to make me miss the class for a little bit and get far behind.
What have you learned in your Carone Learning course that will most help you in your life?
I’ve learned the medical terminology that will be necessary for my career when I become an adult. It will also benefit me when I go to college and may be one step ahead of other students.
How has your Carone Learning course helped you improve your level of health or fitness?
The course has helped me know more about how many body works, and that has in turn helped me have a healthier life.
How has your cFitness Academy instructor helped you with your course or your goals?
She gives me a weekly report of how I’m doing every week. She also has given me feedback on all of my assignments, helping me know what I missed and what I did good on.
Why did you sign up for a course through cFitness Academy, and how has taking this course online been beneficial?
I signed up for this course because my school did not offer medical terminology. This course will be beneficial to me since my career is going to be in the medical field.
Here’s what Ryan’s teacher had to say about him:
“Ryan has done a great job in this class. He is self-motivated, completes quality work on time, and demonstrates an understanding of the content.”
In Ryan’s Medical Terminology course they are asked to create new words using the prefixes and suffixes they learn that are pertinent to the medical field:
“Using the word parts from his lessons, Ryan created a new medical term: Dyscephalesthesia: a sensation that is bad for the head.”
Just as all of our students are unique, we think Ryan is pretty great and we’re proud to have him in class! Thanks, Ryan!
