It was great! A lot of work but it was worth it!
Here’s what Erika’s teacher had to say about her:
“Erika has been diligent in logging in regularly and submitting excellent work, even amongst a busy school schedule. This semester is hard on everyone, but I’ve been impressed with her ability to keep up with the pacing guide while still providing quality work. She also communicates well when she has questions or concerns about assignments or the course in general. Erika’s fitness routines have been wonderful, but she’s even been open to constructive criticism and attempted to make a few changes to improve her routines and make sure she’s meeting all the requirements for the course.”
In Erika’s Advanced PE 2 course she had the opportunity to discuss with other students the pros and cons of routine exercise vs. variety in exercise. Here is her response:
“I think routine is good because it makes exercise become natural. Even if it is a lazy day and you do nothing else, your routine will have kicked in and you will have still exercised. Routine exercise can make you more productive during your day before you even realize it. On the other side variety is good. Variety will get you into the habit of exercising different things, it will continue to push you in many different aspects. You can change up what you are doing, make it more original and hopefully more fun to try something different. I think that they are both important. I think you need to have at least some sort of routine that you always do, but I also believe that it is good to add some new things into your exercise so that it does not become too redundant.”
Just as all of our students are unique, we think Erika is pretty great and we’re proud to have her in class! Thanks, Erika!
