Let us introduce you to our student of the week, Bradford H.! Bradford has enjoyed the opportunity to take an online course that he is interested in exploring for future career opportunities. His school wasn’t able to provide an Exercise Science course, so he was happy to be able to have an online course to help him explore his interests.
What do you like most about your Carone Learning course?
I like the design of the page and how easy it is to access your assignments and lessons on multiple formats.
What have you learned in your Carone Learning course that will most help you in your life?
I am going on to a possible Exercise Physiology major, so everything that I am learning in this course will help me in the future.
How has your Carone Learning course helped you improve your level of health or fitness?
I am learning new things that I did not know factored into overall health that I did not previously worry about such as flexibility and mental health.
How has your cFitness Academy instructor helped you with your course or your goals?
My instructor gave me a great deal of information at the start of my course, and has encouraged me to do well in the course and the goals I have set myself for the course.
Why did you sign up for a course through cFitness Academy, and how has taking this course online been beneficial?
I signed up for my course because it was not provided by my school, and taking this course online has been beneficial because it has given me a chance to see if exercise science is something I am really interested in, as well as letting me see what online classes are like.
Here’s what Braford’s teacher had to say about him:
“Bradford (BJ) has a fantastic start in his Exercise Science course. His discussions have been thoughtful and he has excelled on his exams and quizzes thus far.”
In Bradford’s Exercise Science class there is an opportunity to discuss if technology has had a positive or negative impact on fitness in America. Here is Bradford’s response:
“Personally, I believe that technology has positively impacted fitness in America. It has led to the invention of devices that make it easier for the common person to get started exercising. Examples of these devices include fitness watches, cardio equipment with screens showing data that includes the amount of calories you have burned, and online access to personal trainers and fitness programs. Technological advancements have also allowed for better ways of studying exercise and fitness. Researchers can easily communicate their findings with one another, and using data coming from the inventions mentioned above give them more in depth data coming from a wider range of people to study. All of this has been available through technological advancements, so I would have to say that technology has been a positive thing for fitness in America.”
Just as all of our students are unique, we think Bradford is pretty great and we’re proud to have him in class! Thanks, Bradford!
